Annotation

In this presentation we will discuss biofuels incorporation in the Slovakian and European road fuel markets, and the role biomethane plays.

Regulation has a major impact on the market, hence we will briefly review the major regulatory changes which are currently impacting the market. Europe has ambitious targets to decarbonize transport, but conventional biofuels will not be sufficient to meet these goals.

This will drive demand for waste-based fuels and biomethane is well placed to fill the needs of the market and support the 2030 objectives. However, regulatory change and feedstock availability present key risks to the biomethane industry.
