The first step was the optimization and rationalization of the separate waste collection infrastructure with regard to its real usability and capacity.<\/p>\n

The next step is the intensification of separate waste collection through a targeted increase in the capacity of the collection infrastructure, more intensive communication aimed at citizens in order to increase their environmental awareness and involvement in separate waste collection, as well as the process of sorting this waste on sorting lines according to recyclers.<\/p>\n

One of the pillars on tackling the problem of landfilling and increasing the rate of recycling is to intensify the current separate waste collection in order to reduce the volume of waste ending up in landfills. It is necessary to effectively set collection targets not only for packaging and non-packaging products, but also for biodegradable waste, textiles, small construction waste, etc. The objectives must be clear, transparent, achievable, controlled and evaluated on an ongoing basis.<\/p>\n

It is necessary to develop the infrastructure of separate waste collection in such a way as to remove practical obstacles to sorting for citizens (e.g. delivery distance and sufficient capacity). At the same time, however, it must reflect real needs with regard to legislative changes, such as the introduction of a deposit system for single use plastic and metal beverage packaging.<\/p>\n

Since 2016, when the Waste Act came into force, which implemented the principle of extended producer responsibility into Slovak law, the amount of sorted waste has been growing continuously. Since then, ENVI – PAK provides separate waste collection and recovery and recycling. On the 20th<\/sup> April 2016 The Ministry of the Environment of the Slovak Republic granted ENVI – PAK an authorization for the activity of producer responsibility organization for packaging and with effect from 1st<\/sup> July 2016, ENVI – PAK became the producer responsibility organization (PRO). ENVI – PAK is the longest-running producer responsibility organization (originally authorized organization) in Slovakia. Therefore, it has the most practical experience, and know-how also draws on manufacturers who have many years of international experience with the management of extended producer responsibility systems. These include Coca Cola, Nestl\u00e9, Henkel, Tetra Pak, P & G, Mattoni, Unilever and Mondelez.<\/p>\n

ENVI – PAK provides collection, recovery and recycling of waste from packaging and non-packaging products, it finances separate waste collection in municipalities in the Slovak Republic under the Waste Act.<\/p>\n

PRO ENVI – PAK operates on the principle of cooperation of all actors involved in the waste stream \u2013 from producers placing packaging and non-packaging products on the market or into circulation, through the municipalities responsible for providing separate waste collection on their territory, the collecting companies that provide collection and secondary sorting of waste, to waste recyclers who produce their products from secondary raw materials.<\/p>\n

ENVI – PAK has become a member of the International Association of Producer Responsibility Organizations PRO Europe since 2003, through which it acquires and implements international know-how in Slovakia. Organizations associated with PRO Europe have been using waste collection, recovery and recycling systems for years. That is why for ENVI – PAK they are the source of recommendations that can be used in Slovakia with the fact that they have already been verified and work well with a long tradition in well-developed European countries.<\/p>\n

Prv\u00fdm krokom bola optimaliz\u00e1cia a racionaliz\u00e1cia infra\u0161trukt\u00fary trieden\u00e9ho zberu\u00a0 vzh\u013eadom na\u00a0 jej re\u00e1lnu vyu\u017eite\u013enos\u0165 a kapacitu.<\/p>\n

\u010eal\u0161\u00edm krokom je intenzifik\u00e1cia trieden\u00e9ho zberu prostredn\u00edctvom cielen\u00e9ho zvy\u0161ovania kapacity zberovej infra\u0161trukt\u00fary, intenz\u00edvnej\u0161ej komunik\u00e1cie zameranej na ob\u010danov s cie\u013eom zvy\u0161ova\u0165 ich environment\u00e1lne povedomie a zapojenos\u0165 do trieden\u00e9ho zberu, ako i proces dotrie\u010fovania tohto odpadu na triediacich link\u00e1ch vzh\u013eadom na po\u017eiadavky recykl\u00e1torov.<\/p>\n

Jedn\u00fdm z pilierov, na ktor\u00fdch stoj\u00ed rie\u0161enie probl\u00e9mu skl\u00e1dkovania a zvy\u0161ovania miery recykl\u00e1cie, je pr\u00e1ve intenzifik\u00e1cia s\u00fa\u010dasn\u00e9ho trieden\u00e9ho zberu, aby sa zmen\u0161il zmen\u0161i\u0165 objem odpadov kon\u010diacich na skl\u00e1dke. Je potrebn\u00e9 efekt\u00edvne nastavi\u0165 ciele zberu nielen pre obaly a neobalov\u00e9 v\u00fdrobky, ale aj pre biologicky rozlo\u017eite\u013en\u00e9 odpady, textil, drobn\u00e9 stavebn\u00e9 odpady a pod. Ciele musia by\u0165 jasn\u00e9, transparentn\u00e9, splnite\u013en\u00e9, kontrolovan\u00e9 a priebe\u017ene vyhodnocovan\u00e9.<\/p>\n

Infra\u0161trukt\u00faru trieden\u00e9ho zberu je nevyhnutn\u00e9 rozv\u00edja\u0165 tak, aby sa pre ob\u010danov odstr\u00e1nili praktick\u00e9 prek\u00e1\u017eky triedenia (napr. don\u00e1\u0161kov\u00e1 vzdialenos\u0165 a dostato\u010dn\u00e1 kapacita). Z\u00e1rove\u0148 v\u0161ak mus\u00ed reflektova\u0165 re\u00e1lne potreby vzh\u013eadom na legislat\u00edvne zmeny, ktorou je napr\u00edklad zavedenie syst\u00e9mu z\u00e1loh na jednorazov\u00e9 obaly na n\u00e1poje z plastu a kovu.<\/p>\n

Od roku 2016, kedy vst\u00fapil do platnosti z\u00e1kon o odpadoch, ktor\u00fd implementoval do slovensk\u00e9ho pr\u00e1vneho poriadku princ\u00edp roz\u0161\u00edrenej zodpovednosti v\u00fdrobcov, kontinu\u00e1lne rastie mno\u017estvo trieden\u00e9ho odpadu. ENVI – PAK je tak najdlh\u0161ie p\u00f4sobiacou organiz\u00e1ciou zodpovednosti v\u00fdrobcov (p\u00f4vodne opr\u00e1vnenou organiz\u00e1ciou) na Slovensku. Preto m\u00e1 najviac praktick\u00fdch sk\u00fasenost\u00ed, pri\u010dom know-how \u010derp\u00e1 aj od v\u00fdrobcov, ktor\u00ed maj\u00fa s riaden\u00edm syst\u00e9mov roz\u0161\u00edrenej zodpovednosti v\u00fdrobcov mnohoro\u010dn\u00e9 medzin\u00e1rodn\u00e9 sk\u00fasenosti. S\u00fa nimi Coca\u00a0 Cola,\u00a0 Nestl\u00e9,\u00a0 Henkel, Tetra\u00a0 Pak, P&G, Mattoni, Unilever a Mondelez.<\/p>\n

ENVI – PAK zabezpe\u010duje zber, zhodnocovanie a recykl\u00e1ciu odpadov z obalov a neobalov\u00fdch v\u00fdrobkov, financuje trieden\u00fd zber v obciach a mest\u00e1ch v Slovenskej republike v zmysle z\u00e1kona o odpadoch.<\/p>\n

OZV ENVI – PAK funguje na princ\u00edpe spolupr\u00e1ce v\u0161etk\u00fdch subjektov podie\u013eaj\u00facich sa na toku odpadov \u2013 od os\u00f4b uv\u00e1dzaj\u00facich na trh alebo do obehu obaly a neobalov\u00e9 v\u00fdrobky, cez obce a mest\u00e1, ktor\u00e9 s\u00fa zodpovedn\u00e9 za zavedenie trieden\u00e9ho zberu na svojom \u00fazem\u00ed, zberov\u00e9 spolo\u010dnosti, ktor\u00e9 zabezpe\u010duj\u00fa zber a dotriedenie odpadov, a\u017e po spracovate\u013eov odpadov, ktor\u00ed z vytrieden\u00fdch druhotn\u00fdch surov\u00edn vyr\u00e1baj\u00fa svoje v\u00fdrobky.<\/p>\n

ENVI – PAK sa u\u017e pri vzniku v roku 2003 stal \u010dlenom medzin\u00e1rodn\u00e9ho zdru\u017eenia organiz\u00e1ci\u00ed zodpovednosti v\u00fdrobcov PRO Europe, prostredn\u00edctvom ktor\u00e9ho z\u00edskava a na Slovensku implementuje medzin\u00e1rodn\u00e9 know-how. Organiz\u00e1cie zdru\u017een\u00e9 v PRO Europe prev\u00e1dzkuj\u00fa syst\u00e9my zberu, zhodnocovania a recykl\u00e1cie odpadov dlh\u00e9 roky.
