There are diametrical differences in the EU-28 in how to deal with such a waste. Energy-from-Waste plants in EU countries are unevenly distributed especially under comparison of their capacities per capita. Different EU countries also have completely different approaches to their evaluation.<\/span><\/p>\n

Presentation will show how the Czech Republic wanted to solve the issue of circular economy and how it is not possible to build facilities for material and energy utilization of waste in the Czech Republic and what are the obstacles. Presentation mainly deals with the composition of waste and the truth about plastic waste recycling and further ask if it is appropriate to worry about the potential construction of EfW in the place of municipal residence. Presentation will explain what emissions leave such a plant and in what quantities.<\/span><\/p>\n

For the most discussed pollutants, explanation will be provided on their impact on the environment, e.g. dioxin – potentially carcinogenic substances, where they appear, what are the most important sources of these substances and what concentrations are reached in reality within the EfW plat in comparison with their content in the edible food where the content of these harmful particles is not under any bid consideration.<\/span><\/p>\n
