Efficient materials management can significantly influence the level of fees or revenues in this area. And these practices are gaining in popularity.<\/span><\/p>\n

In today\u2019s world, tainted by a shortage of raw materials, the trend towards a circular economy is becoming a necessity. Increasingly, companies are looking for second-hand inputs or ways to reuse unwanted materials. Thanks to these environmentally friendly practices, they are able to save on landfill fees, mitigate the impact of high price increases for primary raw materials and even make significant financial gains. The positive environmental impacts of these actions are more than just the icing on the cake.<\/span><\/p>\n

Companies often fail to realise that materials they consider waste can have a positive market value. This is also due to a lack of transparency in the waste market. CYRKL – the platform for industrial waste and green procurement helps companies to recognise the potential of their waste. From requesting an estimated price for a material in a specific location to assisting with its sale or even free transportation the marketplace helps companies save as much as 15-45% of their annual fees.<\/span><\/p>\n

In this presentation, we will briefly review the process of such a simple market research through the CYRKL marketplace. We will also discuss successful examples from practice where companies have saved on landfill or unfavorable business relationships.
