The waste management sector is increasingly dependent on information technology and digital systems. That is why the European Commission has included companies operating in the field of waste management among the companies that are obliged under the NIS2 directive to take measures to increase cyber security and thus prevent cyber threats that can seriously threaten the operation and safety of waste management.<\/span><\/p>\n

As part of the lecture, we will introduce you to various types of cyber threats that can endanger waste management. We will include examples of attacks and their possible consequences and discuss measures and procedures to prevent them.<\/span><\/p>\n
