A key objective is to reposition waste streams as valuable material flows within a circular system.<\/p>\n

In this context, circular economy does not represent an incremental improvement of waste management. It requires a fundamental shift in mindset \u2013 from managing waste to managing materials, from end-of-life treatment to designing circularity across the entire value chain. This mindset change is a critical enabler of the transition.<\/p>\n

The presentation will therefore focus not only on current practices, but on the direction and active shaping of this transformation within the automotive sector. It will demonstrate how industry is increasing material recovery rates, developing chemical recycling solutions for complex material streams, and redefining the role of different treatment pathways within a system perspective.<\/p>\n

Energy recovery remains an essential component of a functioning system, particularly for waste streams where viable recycling solutions are not yet available. It serves as a stabilizing element, ensuring safe treatment while maintaining the long-term objective of reducing dependency on such pathways.<\/p>\n

A dedicated focus will be placed on how this transformation is being co-shaped at the Slovak level, including proposals aimed at simplifying processes and evolving the regulatory framework. Current legislation is still largely designed for linear models and waste-based thinking, which can limit the speed and scalability of circular solutions.<\/p>\n

These developments will be positioned within the broader European policy context, including upcoming initiatives such as the Circular Economy Act, representing a key opportunity to enable the transition from waste-based to material-based system thinking.<\/p>\n

Practical examples from the automotive sector will illustrate initiatives focused on closing material loops (e.g. plastics, packaging, production waste) and creating conditions for materials to remain in the economy as valuable resources rather than returning as waste.<\/p>\n

Obehov\u00e9 hospod\u00e1rstvo pritom neznamen\u00e1 len efekt\u00edvnej\u0161ie odpadov\u00e9 hospod\u00e1rstvo. Predstavuje z\u00e1sadn\u00fd posun v sp\u00f4sobe uva\u017eovania \u2013 od riadenia odpadu k riadeniu materi\u00e1lov, od koncov\u00e9ho spracovania k uzatv\u00e1raniu cyklov u\u017e na \u00farovni dizajnu, v\u00fdroby a dod\u00e1vate\u013esk\u00fdch re\u0165azcov. Tento \u201emindset change\u201c je k\u013e\u00fa\u010dovou podmienkou pre skuto\u010dn\u00fd prechod k cirkul\u00e1rnemu modelu.<\/p>\n

Predn\u00e1\u0161ka preto nebude prezentova\u0165 len aktu\u00e1lny stav, ale najm\u00e4 smerovanie a formovanie tejto transform\u00e1cie v automotive sektore. Zameria sa na to, ako priemysel systematicky zvy\u0161uje podiel materi\u00e1lov\u00e9ho zhodnocovania, rozv\u00edja rie\u0161enia v oblasti chemickej recykl\u00e1cie pre komplexn\u00e9 materi\u00e1ly a s\u00fa\u010dasne prehodnocuje \u00falohu jednotliv\u00fdch technol\u00f3gi\u00ed v r\u00e1mci celkov\u00e9ho syst\u00e9mu.<\/p>\n

Energetick\u00e9 zhodnocovanie zost\u00e1va v tomto kontexte nevyhnutnou s\u00fa\u010das\u0165ou funk\u010dn\u00e9ho syst\u00e9mu, najm\u00e4 pre odpadov\u00e9 pr\u00fady, pre ktor\u00e9 dnes neexistuj\u00fa udr\u017eate\u013en\u00e9 a \u0161k\u00e1lovate\u013en\u00e9 recykla\u010dn\u00e9 rie\u0161enia. Predstavuje stabiliza\u010dn\u00fd prvok syst\u00e9mu, ktor\u00fd umo\u017e\u0148uje bezpe\u010dn\u00e9 spracovanie materi\u00e1lov, pri\u010dom strategick\u00fdm cie\u013eom je jeho dlhodob\u00e1 optimaliz\u00e1cia.<\/p>\n

Osobitn\u00e1 pozornos\u0165 bude venovan\u00e1 tomu, ako automotive sektor t\u00fato transform\u00e1ciu akt\u00edvne spoluutv\u00e1ra na \u00farovni Slovenska \u2013 prostredn\u00edctvom n\u00e1vrhov na zjednodu\u0161enie procesov a \u00fapravu legislat\u00edvneho r\u00e1mca. S\u00fa\u010dasn\u00e1 regula\u010dn\u00e1 architekt\u00fara je v mnoh\u00fdch pr\u00edpadoch st\u00e1le nastaven\u00e1 na line\u00e1rny model a pr\u00e1cu s \u201eodpadom\u201c, \u010do m\u00f4\u017ee brzdi\u0165 r\u00fdchlej\u0161\u00ed rozvoj cirkul\u00e1rnych rie\u0161en\u00ed.<\/p>\n

Tieto aktivity bud\u00fa zasaden\u00e9 do \u0161ir\u0161ieho eur\u00f3pskeho kontextu, najm\u00e4 v nadv\u00e4znosti na pripravovan\u00e9 iniciat\u00edvy ako Circular Economy Act, ktor\u00e9 predstavuj\u00fa pr\u00edle\u017eitos\u0165 na systematick\u00e9 nastavenie podmienok pre prechod od odpadov\u00e9ho hospod\u00e1rstva k cirkul\u00e1rnemu materi\u00e1lov\u00e9mu hospod\u00e1rstvu.<\/p>\n

Na konkr\u00e9tnych pr\u00edkladoch z praxe bud\u00fa prezentovan\u00e9 iniciat\u00edvy zameran\u00e9 na uzatv\u00e1ranie materi\u00e1lov\u00fdch cyklov (plasty, obaly, v\u00fdrobn\u00e9 odpady) a vytv\u00e1ranie podmienok pre to, aby materi\u00e1ly zost\u00e1vali v ekonomike ako zdroje, nie ako odpad.<\/p>\n
